Allison sat by the corner of her bed, browsing through some new beats on soundcloud with her apple earphones plugged in. Ignoring the many messages on Skype, she kept thinking to herself, you need to find something beneficial to do. Allison, you need to change. Being a mother at the age of 18 is never easy but honestly, she owe it all to her mum. Allison's mum has been taking care of Ariana ever since the divorce. No not between Allison's parents, but between Allison and Heath. Juggling between college, being at home and having a normal teenage life, Allison wants it all. Deep down, she knows that she has to prioritize.
She thought to herself, "Why is it so hard to prioritize? Why is it so difficult to succumb to peer pressure? Because at the end of the day, Allison, you are going to grow old and she will be big enough to notice the things you do. She will look at you as a role model. Allison, you don't want Ariana to repeat the things you did. You don't." She needed to change.
