Dear Friend

In all these thoughts and wonders, you feel alone.

You feel,
Like an outcast,
For your thoughts don't align with that of others.
Your acquaintances say you're being too deep,
When in reality they just don't spare some attention and listen.

Phases,
Good or bad,
every change is a phase.
Something that is inevitable.
We are always curious,
Always in search of something,
To strive for the perfection in life;
For we are humans after all.

Know this, my friend,
Never be afraid to speak of your curiosity,
Know your friends who listen,
Keep them close,
Don't hold back your thoughts from them,
Lest your judgement will be clouded;
And contentment will soon be a stranger.

We are all but stardusts,
Relatable to one another.
All it takes are attentive eyes and ears.
Observe, and listen.
You'll be surprised to find that we,
Are no different after all.

Dear friend, always remember to strive to be the person you wish to become.
The person you were yesterday does not determine who you will be tomorrow. Love you.

Slow It Down, Can You Come Back To Bed

I sat next to you
Barely a ruler away

My wobbly knees
Rested against yours
My elbows
Occasionally brushed against yours

Colliding
Collide more, I thought to myself

Brushing against your orange tanned skin
Orange but not really orange, is it

Maybe a shade of orange with a tinge of peach
or pink

Electrified senses

I could feel
My heart thumping hard against my shirt
Your heavy breathing
As you gently rest your chin on my shoulder

You made me nervous
Nervous, you made me
I was nervous
